planting around trees - Knowledgebase Question

i have trees in my yard i put down tree and shrub soil is that safe for the trees and to plant flowers?

Hope you didn't put down more than a few inches of soil over the existing tree roots. If you put down a thicker layer, rake it off or the tree roots can suffer (too much moisture, not enough oxygen). After raking the area flat, you can plant shrubs or flowers. Enjoy!
