The Q&A Archives: planting flowers

Question: I have a circled spot between two small trees that bloom in my front yard. I need to know what dwarf plant that bloom and do not die that I can safely plant. Usually the front get morning sun.

Answer: Janet,

I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you.

I suggest trying orange bulbine which is very tough and blooms in spring. Another choice would be dwarf lantana or trailing lantana too.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening year in 2007. Please stop in again soon!
