The Q&A Archives: passion fruit vine

Question: I have a passion fruit vine it's healthy and has been growing for a year already, when will it flower?

Answer: Norkis,

I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you.

Hopefully this coming year but it may take yet another year depending on growing conditions and plant health. Wait to prune it until after it blooms. Pruning at the wrong time can be removing potential bloom/fruit buds.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening year in 2007. Please stop in again soon!
