What tree to plant depends on how large a space you have and the growing conditions wher eyou want to plant it -- is it sunny or shady, average or wet or dry soil, windy or protected, and so on. There are many wonderful trees to consider. A popular flowering tree for a full sun spot with well drained soil might be the crabapple. Look for a variety that fits your space when it reaches full size, and has good disease resistance. Your local professionally trained nurseryman and/or county extension should be able to help you analyze the space where you want to plant and identify specific trees that would thrive there for you. Enjoy your new tree!
