HEDGES IN THE FLOWERBED - Knowledgebase Question

I am in the process of clearing out my flowerbed and I need a suggestion on what tpye of plant to use.I would like to use something that I can cut into a box shape.Is the golden euonymus 3 gal. or the japaneseboxwood 3 gal. good choices?

Both of these can be pruned that way, yes. The boxwood will be very slow growing but will be less work in the long run as a result. The euonymus has a coarser texture and can be a difficult color to integrate into the landscape depending on what else you have in your yard. My personal choice would be the boxwood, especially if the overall effect is to be formal. Enjoy your new mini hedge!
