Flying insects are necessary for your fruit trees to produce fruit. The insects transfer pollen from one flower to another and without them, your trees will flower but not set fruit. The insects will only be around while your trees are in bloom, which is only for a few weeks out of the entire year. If you learn to put up with their presence, you'll be assured of a bountiful harvest of fruit.
