My front porch is great for hanging flower baskets, but doesn't get a whole lot of direct sunlight. We do live in South Carolina so I will need something that can stand the heat. What kind of flowers should I be looking to purchase for baskets?

Some of the best plants for shade include fuchsia, impatiens, coleus and caladium. You can interplant with trailing annuals such as alyssum and sweetpeas. Best wishes with your hanging baskets!
