I put Vigaro Weed & Feed on my burmuda grass one week ago. There is a wide swatch in my yard that has not 'greened up' and stil looks winter-brown. I thought it was supposed to green-up within a couple days. I read the directions on the package and watered appropriately. Have i killed my burmuda grass? How long do i wait before i know if its dead? What else can I do now?

Marlene,

Fertilizer won't make a lawn green up until it is warm enough for it to be actively growing and able to take up the nutrients. If you haven't had any rainfall and did not water in the fertilizer do so now with about 1/2 inch of irrigation. As things warm up the turf will start to green up.
