| There are many different reasons why grass might not grow. Grass needs full sun, preferably all day long, soil that is organic and humusy, and even soil moisture meaning the soil should be damp but not soggy and never dried out. If the area is shady, or the soil is very poor or very shallow, or if the hillside is extra dry, that might explain the problem. I would suggest you work with your local county extension to evaluate the site and see what could be done. |
