I have several sunny areas where I would like to add low maintenance shrubs,etc.In front of my knockouts which sit on a slopey bank I would like to add more color.Also by my front door and windows I have 3 August Gardenias,4 dwf.holly yaupons,3wht.indian hawthornes&1 dwf.jap.maple.(ground cover&or flowers to add)......Thank you for your help..........Lucy Stevens

Lucy,

There are many options for color in such a location. I suggest you consider the blue flowers of Salvia 'Mystic Spires', trailing white lantana, or perhaps a dwarf ornamental fountain grass such as 'Little Bunny'.
