The Q&A Archives: seeding

Question: I live in North Jersey when should I put down seed

Answer: The best time to seed a lawn is in late summer to early fall. The next best time is early spring, usually sometime in the beginning of April although it depends on the weather each year. You could seed a bit earlier and it will germinate once the soil warms up enough.
