The Q&A Archives: when do I aerate my lawn and how?

Question: I think I need to aerate my lawn but I don't know if I have to do it wet or dry. HELP

Answer: The soil can be damp, but not soggy wet when you run the aerator over it. The machine will pop out small soil plugs which you can leave on your lawn. Eventually they will weather away.

Happy aerating!
