Are rhododendrons and lilac plants deer proof? We have many deer in the yard.

You're in luck! Neither rhododendrons or lilacs are attractive to deer. That's not to say that a hungry deer won't nibble on a leaf or two, but as a rule these plants won't be bothered by deer.
