The Q&A Archives: moving a rose bush

Question: We inherited a wild rose bush/climber and it's taking over the entire area. I pruned it like crazy last year , it grew even faster! I have to move it !! What is the best time to move roses?

Answer: Your rose can be moved either spring or fall (or even winter if the ground isn't frozen). From the sound of it, I don't think anything will faze your wild rose!

Best wishes with your landscape!
