The Q&A Archives: Okame Cherry Tree

Question: Hi, can you propagate an Okame Cherry tree? I have a young tree (about 3 years old).

Answer: According to Michael Dirr's Manual of Woody Landscape Plants, you may be able to root softwood cuttings taken in May or June. Here are some directions on how to do that. You may need to cut and paste the complete url into your browser to make it work correctly.
