I live in south GA and have large oak trees in my yard and nothing will grow under or around theses trees. Do you have any suggestions of what will grow?? I do not want to cut down the trees.

Angel,

I suggest you try brightening the shade a bit by trimming up low hanging limbs and thinning out a few branches in the upper canopy. Some choices for live oak shade include mondo (monkeygrass), liriope, Aztec grass, Asian jasmine, Japanese Aralia (Fatsia japonica), Gold Dust Plant (Aucuba), cast iron plant, and possibly some shrimp plant would be among your better options.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
