I am going to kill the grass in my front lawn. How long do I have to wait to re-seed? I have bermuda grass and I hate it.

How long to wait would depend on which herbicide you use to kill off the existing vegetation. Read and carefully follow all of the directions on the label. I should mention that it is really already too late in the season to be seeding a new lawn. It might be better to wait until late summer. The best time of year to seed a lawn is, surprisingly, September. Your local county extension should be able to help you determine the best lawn grass varieties for your area and also help you with soil testing and soil preparation so your new lawn has the best chance of succeeding.
