Question: I have a load of vines growing along my stonewall and don't know what they are. They are invading everything and I can't seem to get of them. They have an orangish root system and they seem to never end. I've tried digging, pulling, Round-up, etc. I don't know what else to do.

Answer: Based on your description I think it may be oriental bittersweet which is both terribly invasive and has orange roots.
