| The leaves of the kale plant are edible, but not very palatable. They're used to garnish plates of food in some restaurants. The leaves don't have a lot of flavor and are rather tough, so most people wouldn't eat an entire kale plant. From a nutrition standpoint, kale leaves would provide about the same vitamins and minerals as a cabbage leaf. |
