We have two large cherry trees in our back yard that produce a lot of cherries. We are never very successful at picking the fruit, so we end up spending the fall picking up rotten cherries off the ground. Is there something we can use to prevent the trees from producing fruit? |
You may be able to keep it from fruiting by spraying it with Florel. It is used to keep Olives, Liquidambers, and other trees from fruiting. You spray the tree when the flowers are open and it aborts the fruit. I don't know if it is labled for cherry trees.
