This magnolia grows with multiple stems somewhat like a shrub, but typically reaches about fifteen feet height, sometimes a bit more over time. I have seen it called both a large shrub and a small, multi-stemmed tree. To me, when it matures it seems more like a lovely small tree than a bush.
