I would like to have a tree in a pot inside. I have seen small citris trees for sale in catalogs, are there any other type of fruit bearing trees I could grow inside?

Orange, lemon and lime are about the only fruit-bearing trees that will adapt to growing indoors. Those that do especially well include the dwarf varieties Citrus mitis, Citrus limon (both Meyeri and Ponderosa), and the Seville orange Citrus aurantium. They need bright light and constant moisture. Their blossoms are small but very fragrant.
