| The fruit of the apple persimmon is edible. There are two trees from which to choose: FUYU PERSIMMON - JIRO bears medium size, flat shaped fruit which is still hard when ripe. It is considered non-astringent. Grows in a cool or hot climate. Hardy, attractive tree, practically pest free. Fall harvest. Self- fruitful.
