The Q&A Archives: Planting tomato plants

Question: I started my tomatoe's indoors about a month ago. Their seedlings now and I was wanting to plant them outside. How do I go about doing such a delicate task?

Answer: Your plants should develop at least 2 sets of true leaves before being set out and they should remain indoors until nighttime temperatures remain above 50F. It may be a little early to set them out in your region. I'd wait a few weeks.

Hope you have a bountiful harvest!
