I have a eucalyptrus tree that was planted last spring and was doing really well to the unecpected frost this year. It had grown from about 6ft tall to about 12 ft tall. All of a sudden the leaves were all curled up. The tree is bare now except at the very bootm there are now leaves coming up from the ground. Is it trying to start over or will it repair itself. I have 2 small trees of the same tree and they are doing fine. Help!!!! Thank You

Frost really hit alot of plants this winter. If your tree is sending up leaves at the base, it is coming back. Make sure that it isn't stressed for water (but don't overwater!) and don't prune back the dead material yet. It's hard to tell where the tree will sprout out from, and you don't want to mistakenly trim more than necessary. Good luck!
