We live in the South and have Bermuda grass which gets plenty of sun light on most of it, but it is thin and sparse. Can we spread more seed over it? What is the best way to get it thick and lush? Lilburn, GA

Beth,

You don't need to spread seeds. If the bermuda is getting enough sun it can be made much more dense by moderate watering, mowing as often as you can, and fertilizing every 6 weeks. Those are the keys to a dense bermudagrass lawn.
