Fast Growing Palm Tree's/Flea Control - Knowledgebase Question

I'm new to this state having moved here from Georgia. I want to plant some palm trees but I would like a variety that grows quickly and produce's quite a good area of shade.

Can you suggest some variety's that grow well in this region.

I have Bahai grass and I understand it is not tolerant of many pesticides. I have used the Sevin liquid spray but my doggies are still coming in covered in fleas.

Can you suggest a pesticide that I can use that is effective and won't kill my grass?

You need to control the fleas in the yard and at the same time inside the home and on the pet. All three strategies are needed for effective, long term flea control. The following web site and your local veterinarian should be helpful in this.
