We would like to plant some evergreen ground cover under our pine trees. What would you suggest?

It can be difficult to establish plants beneath pines. The soil is typically dry and acidic and the shade the trees cast limits the choices of plants. With that said, I've had success with ivy, Vinca, Lamium, Sweet Woodruff, and Star Jasmine. Perhaps these plants will work in your garden. Hope so!
