I have purchased the mixed morning glory seed packet and the plants are coming up wonderfully. I have never grown these plants myself and I don't know how well they train. Do I need a trellis for them or will they climb willfully up the side of my brick home? |
Morning glories are a twining vine so they can't really "stick" to the side of your home like some other vines would. You can accomplish this effect though. When I want to grow morning glories along the side of my home, I simply hang a bit of yarn or twine the same color as my house or, green like the vines, and they go up it like gangbusters! They will really twine around anything you would like to use. |
