Hello! I would like to have some plants to hide the 3ft height utility box in front of our house. What kind of plant should we plant?
Thanks.

Utility boxes have to be accessible for maintenance work, so to some extent they are hard to hide completely. Be careful and note if there are any underground utilities near the boxes as this may also limit your ability to dig for planting in that area. If you intend to plant, the problem is that anything big enough to block their view will also impede access to them. With that said, you might try planting an evergreen shrub such as Nandina (heavenly bamboo), Escallonia, or Pieris. All will grow in full sunshine, all are well behaved, and all provide seasonal interest in the form of colorful foliage or flowers.

Best wishes with your landscape!
