I need a FLOWERING OR BLOOMING vine, plant or something that spreads that can take alot of shade. We have 2 huge oaks and right now we have a non-blooming jasmine vine that is doing quite well, easy to cut and no big deal BUT soooo boring. I'd LOVE to find something that blooms alot and I'd rip those vines right out!! Thank you so very much! Home Depot has been a great help with products and questions. Am so glad I found you and LOVE THE NEW ZEN FOUNTAIN!! It adds that |
Teri, Shade and blooms don't go together very well at all. Some blooming ideas for shady spots include impatiens, Hinckley's columbine (can take southern heat and reseeds), azaleas (may need some tree pruning to brighten the shade), shrimp plant, and the Variegated Potato Vine (Solanum jasminoides 'Varegata'). Also consider foliage color such as caladiums, iresene (chicken gizzard), Persian shield, and if the shade is not too dense a variegated canna such as Bengal Tiger. Glad you love your new fountain! Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
