On I-65 between Jackson,TN and Dickson,TN we saw several trees blooming with light bluish flowers. We went to TN on Thursday April 5,2007. We remembered that we had seen these same trees last year about this time of year and again we said we really need to find out what they are. We are not novice gardeners and this was NOT a redbud nor was it a wisteria. It was the blooms on the tree itself. We went on to visit one of our children at Fort Knox, KY and asked at a garden center there if they had any idea what the tree could have been and they did not have a clue. So...can ya'll tell us what that tree might have been? Thanks, Robbie Ann and Bill

This time of year, it may have been Jacaranda, Sophora or Empress tree. Do a web search on all three to see if the flowers are the same. Hope so!
