Deciding on a grass to establish a new lawn - Knowledgebase Question

We've just completed construction on our new home and need to decide what type of grass to use to get our lawn started. We have a very sandy Florida soil and a sloping waterfront lot so we need to get something going soon to avoid erosion. What grass would you recommend?

There are several options and each has its pro's and con's. Bermuda is tough but requires frequent mowing to stay dense and attractive, and can be invasive in adjacent flower beds. St. Augustine is the most shade tolerant but requires lots of watering in the sun. Zoysia is in between the above two species in each of these aspects.
