When and what kind - Knowledgebase Question

Can you tell me some good choices of schubs to chews from, and when is a good time to plant them. I want something that want get over about 3 feet tall, my windows arent very high, and something that will stay green../

I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you.

The best shrubs for shade are dwarf azalea, dwarf gardenia, and maybe even a dwarf nandina. For sun try dwarf yaupon, Sherwood abelia and dwarf Chinese holly.
