Plant your hydrangea in a place where it will get partial shade; morning sun, afternoon shade is best. In your area it will grow and bloom periodically all year. You will need to do some pruning after each blooming period. Hydrangeas need a moist, well-drained fertile soil. Fertilize in early spring, late spring, mid-summer and early winter using about 2 or 3 tablespoons of 6-6-6 for a 3 foot plant.

Good luck with your garden!
