I have a driveway close to our property line. Currently there are cedars planted about 20 foot tall. I would like to plant something under them to fill in the space as a border. What would you suggest? Thanks alot!

It's difficult to get anything to grow beneath cedar trees because they compete very well for soil moisture. With that said, I've had great success with lenten rose, Mahonia nervosa, Polystichum munitum, Epimedium, Vancouveria (Inside-out Flower),
Lonicera (Honeysuckle Species), Vaccinium parvifolium (Red Huckleberry), Vaccinium ovatum (Evergreen Huckleberry), Sambucus (Elderberry), Gaultheria Shallon (Salal), Vinca minor (periwinkle), and Lamium.

Best wishes with your garden!
