The Q&A Archives: How to buy a Meyer Lemon Tree in TX

Question: How can I buy a Meyer Lemon tree in Texas--everytime I try to order online it says it can't ship to there somewhere IN Texas I can get one?? Or a good alternative to the Meyer?? Any help is appreciated!!

Answer: Katie,

I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you. Yes you can find Meyer lemons in your area. Check with the Kyle, Texas store and the one in south Austin at Hwy 35 and Slaughter. If they don't have one contact the Travis County Extension Office at 512-854-9600 and ask for the Master Gardener desk. They will be able to suggest a local source.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
