Someone told me that there is a tomato named Irish and that they feel that they are the best tomato that they have ever tasted. Is there such a thing as an Irish Tomato? If so, where would we purchase the seedlings or the seeds?

Yes, there is a variety of tomato named 'Irish'. It is described as producing dozens of tennis-ball-sized fruits over a long season; the seeds are from Ireland.

It may be difficult to find this variety. Try Fox Hollow Herb and Heirloom Seed Co., PO Box 148, McGrann, PA 16236, ph# 412-763-8247. Good Luck!
