I was wondering if you could recommend a shrub for me.
I am looking to plant them on the side of my house, right next to the foundation of the house and the blacktop driveway. Were looking for something that won't need to be pruned often and won't grow higher than about 4-6ft. There's lilacs there we don't want.
Thank you for any suggestions you can give.

If this is a sunny area, you might try the smaller varieties of summer blooming pink flowered spireas or perhaps one of the new small growing weigelas, or even a landscape rose such as one from the new disease resistant KnockOut or Carefree series. Another option, depending on how wide it is, might be some of the lower growing junipers or a dwarf burning bush with great fall color. If this area is sunny in the morning only, you might try one of the white flowered Hydrangea arborescens such as "Annabelle." I hope this gives you some ideas.
