The Q&A Archives: Japanese maple tree

Question: Do I need to trim off the branches that the frost effected on my Japanese maple tree?

Answer: As soon as you're sure the possibility of frost is over, prune off the damaged stems and branches on your Japanese maple. The spring flush of growth will probably cover up the pruning cuts.

Let's hope there are no more late frosts!
