Hi, I have 4ft high shrubs in front but want some perennial color added in front of them. Only about 2ft wide of space to plant; azaleas there now but they growing into shrubs. What is a good perennial that will not grow more than 3' high and 2' wide? Direct sun from 2pm until sunset.

I'd remove the azaleas and plant a bushy perennial like lavender or heather in the spot. Another suggestion is Shasta Daisy. Or, for a real splash of color, plant geraniums.

Best wishes with your landscape!
