Do you have any products for people using wheelchairs or ideas for garden designs? I can't find much at all. Please let me know!

National Gardening Association sells a book called "Accessible Gardening for People with Physical Disabilities: A Guide to Methods, Tools, and Plants", by Janeen R. Adil (Woodbine House, Bethesda, MD, 1994; ISBN: 0-933149-56-5).

The book contains chapters on container gardening, raised beds, vertical gardening, tools, choosing plants, etc.

The book mentions several companies offering tools adapted for those with physical disabilities, including:

adaptAbility, PO Box 515, Colchester, CT 06415, ph# 800-288-9941

Alsto's Handy Helpers, PO Box 1267, Galesburg, IL 61401, ph# 800-447-0048

Langenbach, PO Box 453, Blairstown, NJ 07825, ph# 800-362-1991

Walt Nicke's Garden Talk, PO Box 433, Topsfield, MA 01983, ph3 800-822-4114

You may be able to find the Accessible Gardening book at your library or local bookstore, or you can order it through NGA; just call 1-800-538-7476 or visit the web site at www.garden.org

I hope this is helpful.
