| The cold spell that just came through in the first of April really damaged my azaleas. Or, who knows, they may be dead. I just planted them last fall. What should I do to help them grow back and flourish? |
| Although your azaleas are probably not well established in your garden, they should recover from the late cold snap. Right now all you need to do is wait and watch. When the weather warms up and your azaleas begin to recover, you should see new green growth. When that happens you'll know where to prune to remove the dead stems and branches. You might be surprized at how well the plants recover. Keep positive thoughts and let's hope there are no more late frosts this year! |
