I planted my bush last year and it was doing great once the flowers died i did not know what to do with them pull the flower off and the long stem or snip them this winter my bush did not make it I live in W. PA it was planted in the ground home depot told me it would be OK did I do something wrong and lastly does this bush come in orange or any other color besides yellow thanks for your time |
Greenleaf euryops daisy is only hardy to 22F so I'm not surprised it didn't make it through your winter weather. These plants are also called yellow bush daisy and yellow is the only color they come in. I would consider this plant a seasonal annual in PA and plant it in a container rather than in the ground. When the flowers fade, cut the flowering stem down; wherever you cut, two new flowering stems will appear. By keeping the faded flowers cut off, you'll encourage additional flowering all summer long. Enjoy! |
