I had early growth on my hydrangeas, but all seems to be dead after the recent frost. Is this damage permanent for the season or will the foliage and blooms return?

Your hydrangea has suffered a minor setback but it should recover later this spring. When it does begin to grow again, you can cut off any dead branches or branch tips.
