| I think you'll find the seasons reversed in the Valley of the Sun. Summer veggies are typically grown in the cooler months - October through April. By the time summer rolls around (in June), most annuals either keel over, or wait patiently for cooler weather. The Arizona State University has an online Master Gardener manual with planting date suggestions for all types of veggies and herbs. Check out this website: http://cals.arizona.edu/pubs/g... You'll find a list of veggies on the opening page. If you're interesting in soil prep and water conveservation, etc., simply go forward or backward in the manual, or click on the index.
