What does successive sowing and successive planting mean? Are we suppose to plant new carrot seeds when we pull up a row of carrots?

Good question! What is meant by succession planting is simply to plant seeds every two weeks instead of planting them all at once. If you stagger the planting, you'll be able to harvest some of your crop every couple of weeks instead of having everything become ripe at once. This works with carrots, but also beans, peas, lettuces, etc. Hope this clarifies things for you!
