What do I use to safely get rid of grubs in the vegetable garden

Grubs tend to be closest to the surface in the spring, so turning the soil over is one way to disturb them, expose them to the birds and to the elements, and begin to reduce the population. Another possible control measure is to apply beneficial nematodes to the soil. However I would suggest you consult with your local county extension to try to obtain a specific identification on the grubs you are finding, and based on knowing that, develop a control plan if it is necessary.
