Hi, after I pruned my jathropa plants the leaves are growing very deformed and narrow. What is happening to them?

Eva,

I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you.

Your jatropha's growth is very strange. I doubt it is related to pruning. Such growth is often due to a mild case of damage from a weed killer such as Roundup. I'd give it time and normal care to see if it is able to recover or not. I can't think of anything in your power to do for it otherwise.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
