The Q&A Archives: planting times and temperatures

Question: What temperatures will ranunculus and african daisy survive at? Is it too early to plant them?

What about blackberry plants, what temps can they stand?
can they all stand 40 degree weather?

Answer: They can all stand 40F weather, but the ranunculus and African daisies won't grow - they'll just sit and wait until temperatures warm up. I'd go ahead and plant them, just don't expect a lot of growth until the weather warms!

Best wishes with your garden!
